What is SUN School?

SUN School is a child-centered experiential nature camp held since 2016 as a summer program of Rusk Ranch Nature Center. SUN School is located at Rusk Ranch Nature Center on the banks of the Illinois River in Cave Junction, Oregon.

When is SUN School?

SUN School for summer of 2023 has been partitioned into two, one week day camps to better serve the youth of the community. For our 1st through 3rd graders, we are offering the EarthWorks! program. For our 4th through 6th graders, we are offering our Nature Explorers outdoor adventure camp.

How much does SUN School cost?

Cost: This year, we we are asking a $150 fee for each camper. This tuition helps us cover the costs of snack items and other supplies used during the program. The tuition does not cover any of the curriculum planning, or other administration and clerical costs associated with managing the program. Scholarships and Sliding Scale are available. Please reach out to the instructor for more information.
