  • 2011 Season

    Check out the "DON"T COME DONOR" event! Celebrate the Holidays by helping Rusk Ranch Nature Center to continue offering programs for kids and families! Click on our DONATE button and "attend" the event by donating $25 or $30 for a couple. The Butterfly pavilion closed this year on September 11, 2011 to allow time for the last generation of Monarch Butterflies to migrate south for the winter. Please join us next year, after we have been permitted, at the Butterfly House and Nature Discovery Park.

    Driving Directions:

    From the North, headed south on Hwy 199:
    Rusk Ranch Nature Center is located 1 mile south of Cave Junction, turn right to enter the property just after Philips Auto Wrecking. Entrance is across the highway from Pinewood Way.

    From the Coast, headed north on Hwy 199:
    Just after passing the Great Cats World Park (1 mile before Cave Junction), turn left to enter the property just before Philips Auto Wrecking. Entrance is across the highway from Pinewood Way.

    After entering, follow the road signs to reach the parking area (approximately .5 mi).

    The facility is for rent for events and weddings.
